WineSounds at Freudenstein Castle

On 23 October 2025, the Eppan Tourist Association invites you to an atmospheric evening at Freudenstein Castle – a cultural highlight that uniquely combines music, photography and Eppan’s culinary delights.
Experience the impressive concert Folk Songs by the renowned Windkraft Ensemble, conducted by Johann Finatzer, which takes the audience on a musical journey through various cultures with works by Luciano Berio and Simone Spagnolo. At the center of the performance is the expressive soprano Maria Eleonora Caminada, whose versatility and stage presence will captivate the audience. She is accompanied by the Windkraft Ensemble – consisting of flute, clarinet, viola, violoncello, harp and two percussionists – a formation that brings out the rich character of international folk songs. The program also includes Claude Debussy’s masterpiece Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, whose impressionist tone perfectly complements the vivid folk melodies.
Enjoy excellent Eppan wines from the Stroblhof winery and be inspired by the accompanying photo exhibition by local photographer Erwin Flor – an experience for all the senses.
Aperitif from 6:30 p.m., concert starts at 8:00 p.m.
