Hiking unites: During the three-day Unicorn March in Leutasch, nature lovers from various nations, age groups, and fitness levels walk together through the region. Military groups also participate in this traditional public march to demonstrate social cohesion.
The Unicorn March is organised as part of the international IML Public March series and each year features various routes covering 10, 20, 30 or 41 kilometres through forests, gorges, to peaks, and mountain pastures. In addition to the classic three-day Unicorn March, an "experience walk" is also available, with live music and culinary treats along the way. An award is given for participation. There is no timekeeping or target times.
