June, 4 - Opening night
As daylight gives way to evening and the first notes fill the air, the Accordion World Championships kick off with a festive evening dedicated to the musical soul of South Tyrol. International groups and local artists take turns on stage, creating a rich and engaging programme where cultures and countries come together through a shared, deep passion for music.
Among the most eagerly awaited moments is the performance by the ‘Dolomites’ Accordion Orchestra, led by Maestro Eduard Huber and his students. In the welcoming atmosphere of the pavilion, this evening is not just a concert, but an opportunity to come together: an authentic and evocative start to an event not to be missed.
June, 5
The festivities continue with a second evening celebrating the fusion of local tradition and international sounds. The evening kicks off with Radio VM1’s Tanzcafé, featuring the renowned Klemen-Rošer Trio from Slovenia, whose elegant rhythms and captivating sound are sure to win you over from the very start.
Next, the San Vigilio Band takes to the stage with a rich and intense repertoire, showcasing the best of South Tyrolean tradition for an unforgettable evening!
June, 6
The final evening marks the conclusion of the Accordion World Championships with a festive and emotionally charged ceremony.
The closing concert brings back to the stage the energy and musical variety that have characterised the entire event, with performances showcasing the very best of the passion and talent that the competition days have brought to the fore!
Next comes the most eagerly awaited moment: the finest musicians are recognised for their performances. The most talented among them will be awarded the title of 2026 World Accordion Champion!
