All That Music – Modern Jazz XY Quartet

The members of the quartet like to imagine that their music was inspired and composed by Jon Futuru, a fictional character who lives in a distant space and time: the elements of musical language are removed from their historical, geographical and social context and projected into another dimension, which becomes a hypothetical extraterrestrial future.
