"The Quest" is an animated film regarded as a visual masterpiece of Hungarian cinema. Inspired by the celebrated 19th-century dramatic poem "Csongor és Tünde" by Mihály Vörösmarty, the film follows Csongor, a young man determined to find his true love Tünde, accompanied by his loyal but clumsy friend Balga. Along the way, they encounter characters who challenge Csongor's beliefs about love and life, while the villainous Mirigy threatens to derail his journey and his faith in true love.
Blending Hungarian folklore with extraordinary animation, the film pays tribute to Attila Dargay, a legend of Hungarian animation.
