The Beethoven Orchestra Bonn acts as an ambassador for Beethoven's music, sharing it from its home in Bonn with the rest of the world. Since 1907, conductors such as Richard Strauss, Kurt Masur, and currently Dirk Kaftan have established it as one of Germany's leading orchestras, with international performances reinforcing its prestigious reputation.
The programme features Beethoven's First Symphony, filled with youthful energy, alongside Mozart's elegant Violin Concerto No. 3 with Jonian Ilias Kadesha. The violinist performs throughout Europe and is a co-founder of Trio Gaspard, artistic director of the Caerus Chamber Ensemble, and a recording artist for Linn Records.
