A look behind the technical systems of the ski area with snow pioneer Georg Eisath

Forty years ago he built the first snow guns in South Tyrol; today Georg Eisath leads a guided ski tour offering insight into the core systems of snowmaking and slope preparation at the Carezza Dolomites ski area. A unique opportunity to explore the technical infrastructure of Carezza Dolomites on site.

From the Moseralm, the tour continues on skis to the pumping station of the reservoir basins, where participants learn about energy-efficient snow production and innovative slope-grooming technology. On the subsequent sections of the slopes, Georg Eisath presents additional projects focusing on efficiency improvements, digitalization, and sustainable resource management within the lift company.

The tour concludes at 4:00 p.m. at Hotel Moseralm. All participants can easily return to their starting point using the lifts and ski runs.
Participation note

The tour focuses on technical procedures, energy systems, and infrastructural processes of the ski area. Due to its in-depth content, it is particularly suitable for technically interested teenagers and adults. Younger children may find the experience less suitable.
