Agricultural and Food Biodiversity Festival – a living heritage that belongs to us all.
An invisible thread connects nature, people, traditions and the future. It is the thread of biodiversity.
Organised in the heart of the Valle dei Laghi by the Biodistretto in collaboration with the Office for Organic Production (Rural Development Policy Service of the Province), the Agricultural and Food Biodiversity Festival invites you to look at the area with fresh eyes.
From 3 to 7 June, we look forward to welcoming you to the Valle dei Laghi (Trentino) to celebrate National Agricultural and Food Biodiversity Day (which falls on 20 May).
This event is dedicated to what we often take for granted, but upon which our daily well-being depends: the richness of life, land, knowledge and communities. It is a journey through healthy food culture, landscapes, sustainable agriculture, local crafts and conscious tourism.
We will talk about biodiversity not just as a natural heritage to protect, but as a true culture of the common good. Every choice, purchase and daily action can help preserve the balance between humanity and nature.
The Biodiversity Festival highlights exactly this: the deep connection between ecosystems, traditions, memory and the future – a living heritage that belongs to us all.
This event is dedicated to what we often take for granted, but upon which our daily well-being depends: the richness of life, land, knowledge and communities. It is a journey through healthy food culture, landscapes, sustainable agriculture, local crafts and conscious tourism, inviting us to look at the area with fresh eyes.
It will be an opportunity to meet, listen, reflect, share and rediscover the authentic value of our area through its products and traditions.
