Il Mercato Centrale celebrates the Historic Carnival of Aliano. A day dedicated to tradition, culture, and entertainment, featuring parades with the ancient “horned” masks of Aliano, Lucanian gastronomy, and jazz music.
With the special participation of: Peppone Calabrese — Artistic Director of the Historic Carnival of Aliano and host of Linea Verde (Rai Uno) Bianca Luna Santoro — Godmother of the Historic Carnival of Aliano, host of La Dolce Vita and Urban Green (Rai) Franco Arminio — Poet and “paesologo,” Artistic Director of the Festival of Paesology – La Luna e i Calanchi in Aliano
