The event Christmas in Taisten transforms the new village square in Taisten into a warm and festive meeting place. Traditional customs, music and regional specialties create a peaceful yet lively Advent atmosphere across several event days.
Saturday, 06 December: St. Nicholas celebration: at 05:00 p.m. St. Nicholas arrives from St. George’s Church (Keila) to the village square with gift giving, hot dogs, roasted chestnuts and warm drinks.
Sunday, 14 December: from 09:30 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. festive brunch with soups and hot dogs, guessing game with the chance to win 4 Guggenberg day passes! Brass music and children’s cinema in the heated tent; Christmas market with local handicrafts.
Tuesday, 23 December: from 05:00 p.m. hot drinks and goulash soup together with the Taistner Gaslkrocha and Flott Xung.
