In the depths of winter, when muffled sounds once again accompany the evening and the starry night brings serenity, the charming medieval village of Canale di Tenno appears even more magical. Through its picturesque alleys, which seem to climb the mountain slopes, the gates of courtyards and cellar doors open to reveal a Christmas market of extraordinary beauty.
The vibrant hues of artworks, jewellery stones, and ceramic objects handcrafted by local artisans and artists colour the alleys of one of “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy”. The scent of cloves, Christmas biscuits, and mulled wine gently floats in the air...
Each year, a few weeks before Christmas, Canale di Tenno also hosts a delegation from another splendid Italian village. This exchange of experiences not only introduces other beautiful places and their communities but also serves as a symbolic embrace and a tribute to our innate conviviality.
