FATHER MOTHER SISTER BROTHER is a feature film conceived as a triptych. The three stories revolve around the relationships between adult children and their sometimes distant parents, as well as among themselves.
Each of the three chapters is set in the present day, each in a different country: FATHER takes place in the northeastern United States, MOTHER in Dublin, and SISTER BROTHER in Paris.
It is a series of character studies—quiet, observant, and non-judgmental—yet also a comedy, woven through with delicate threads of melancholy.
