The British vocal ensemble VOCES8 is one of the most beloved British singing groups. In a few years the group, two female voices and six men, has gained an enviable reputation among vocal formations: today it is one of the world's best-known ensembles. The band spends between serious and faceted and offers a repertoire ranging from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary works on commission and jazz and pop arrangements. Their concert in the Brissinian cathedral will be under the sign of "The skies tell the glory of God". The rich program features Renaissance music pieces alongside contemporary music. Among others, we find composers such as Sir John Tavener, Thomas Tallis, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Heinrich Schütz, Sergei Rachmaninov, Gabriel Fauré and Gregory Allegri. His famous "Miserere mei deus" will close the concert.
