Timeless Sounds of Eggental
The Ludus Quartet performs on historical instruments. The program features works by P. Nardini (1722–1793), G. M. Cambini (1746–1825), and L. Boccherini (1743–1805) – three composers regarded as the fathers of the modern string quartet. Together with Filippo Manfredi, they founded the first permanent string quartet in 1767.
