The Orchestra of the Musikfreunde presents the concert “Clarinet Magic”, prepared by Michael Hillebrand. The guest conductor and soloist is Andrea Götsch. She is a clarinetist with the Vienna Philharmonic and the Vienna State Opera Orchestra. She also performs as a soloist with renowned orchestras, is a prizewinner of international competitions, and a founding member of several ensembles.
The program includes:
Samuel Barber: Adagio for Strings, op. 11
Georges Bizet: L’Arlésienne Suite No. 1
Joseph Leopold Eybler: Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra in B-flat major (soloist: Andrea Götsch)
Franz Schubert: Symphony No. 3 in D major, D 200
