This year’s theme, Sonoton Dances, uncovers the rich spectrum of dance in symphonic form, showcasing how music itself can embody movement and emotion. When rhythms pulse, melodies swirl, and harmonies sparkle, the orchestra begins to dance, and so might your feet! From the fairy-tale world of ballet in Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker to the energetic Symphonic Dances by Rachmaninoff, the program unfolds with rhythmic diversity and musical expressiveness. Stravinsky’s Firebird brings dramatic tension, while Grieg’s Peer Gynt enchants with Nordic musical poetry. An unforgettable evening of art, music, and culture in a truly special atmosphere.
