Coppa Rosa + Coppa di Sera

Coppa Rosa + Coppa di Sera

Saturday 12 Sep

Borgo Valsugana

from 10:30 on

Two central events of the youth cycling week in Borgo Valsugana, organized as part of the Coppa d’Oro. Both share a unique educational spirit: athletes compete not for themselves, but for their sports director, who receives the prizes and recognitions.

The Coppa Rosa is the women’s road race for the “allieve” category. Established in 2000, it represents the “pink” version of the Coppa d’Oro and takes place the day before the main race. It is a one-day race with start and finish in Borgo Valsugana, following a route different from the men’s race but with the same final finish line.

Official program:
10:30 AM – Team presentation in Piazza Degasperi
11:00 AM – Race start from Via Spagolla
Around 12:45 PM – Finish in Via Spagolla

The Coppa di Sera is a road race for young riders (boys and girls aged 7 to 16). Initially conceived as a track-style event, since 2009 it has been held on a road circuit within the town. It is considered a true “practice race” where young cyclists experience the atmosphere of major competitions.

Official program:
1:30 PM – Team presentation in Piazza Degasperi
2:00 PM – Race start from Piazza Dante
Around 6:45 PM – Finish in Via Spagolla

The race is divided into four categories:

first-year boys (esordienti)
first-year girls
second-year boys
second-year girls

Overall, these events turn the town center into a major sporting celebration, with team presentations, spectators, and young athletes creating a lively atmosphere that combines sport, education, and tradition.

Meeting point:

Piazza Degasperi square
