Design meets ecology – Geothermal energy at the Oberholz Alpine Chalet
Guided tour with hearty snack
The Oberholz Alpine Chalet is a very special place.
With a thoroughly modern design including a comfortable lounge area and giant glass viewing windows. Just like the entire Obereggen ski and hiking area, we here at the Oberholz Alpine Chalet value energy efficiency. We heat using geothermal energy. The entire exterior façade is covered with larch wood slats, and the interior paneling consists of spruce wood. An expert will explain how the whole concept works. And afterwards, in the three parlor rooms floating above the legendary Oberholz ski slopes, you can enjoy a hearty snack amidst the authentic surroundings.

The tours are conducted every Tuesday in February and March.
Starting time: 9:30 a.m. | Meeting place: the Oberholz Alpine Chalet (Berghütte) |Minimum number of participants: 8 persons.
Payment on site: EURO 12,00 per person.
