An event dedicated to the wines and mountain gastronomy of the Fiemme and Cembra Valleys, featuring masterclasses, gourmet treks, aperitifs with Dolomite views, conferences and themed shows.
The beauty of the Dolomites of the Fiemme Valley and the terraced vineyards of the Cembra Valley, with its 700 kilometres of dry-stone walls, provide the exceptional setting for Dolo-Vini-Miti, the festival of 'vertical' wines.
Four days of events and appointments offer an opportunity to better discover these two territories, their history and characteristics, but above all, their most significant products. The main protagonists are the wines of the Cembra Valley, often described as “vertical”. This concept translates into three meanings: the landscape, as they originate in vineyards painstakingly carved by man from the valley's prohibitive slopes, reaching up to 40% gradients; their longevity, also guaranteed by the distinctive acidity of the grapes, which brilliantly stands the test of time even in varieties typically consumed young elsewhere; and their savouriness, a product of the predominantly porphyritic soils.
The programme includes masterclasses with expert sommeliers from all over Italy, a conference and a themed show, outdoor experiences, vineyard treks, the "Wine Trekking Gourmet", aperitifs with Dolomite views, and much more.
