A trip through the Eggen Valley, via Bozen, to the Karersee, a stunningly beautiful Alpine lake, at the foot of the Latemar mountain, where weʼll have a break. We then pass the holiday residence of legendary Austrian empress Sissi and head to Canazei via the Karer pass and on to the Pordoijoch. The pass is surrounded by the Langkofel, the Sella massif and Marmolata group. Break for lunch approx 1,5 hours. The onward journey takes us into the Grödner Valley via the Sellajoch, with its views of the Geissler summits. The home of Luis Trenker; the famous South Tyrolean film producer, director, writer, actor, architect, Alpinist, and bobsledder, the Grödner Valley is also well known thanks to its unique woodcarvings. Coffee break in St. Ulrich followed by a return to your resort.
