Dolomiti Ski Jazz: Daniele Patton Trio

The 30th edition of Dolomiti Ski Jazz comes to the music club La Grenz with a jam session by the Daniele Patton Trio.

From 6 to 15 March, the "jazz slope" crosses the Fassa Valley and Fiemme Valley with concerts on mountain hut terraces, in venues, theatres, and town squares. From Canazei to Cavalese, and up to Cembra: Dolomiti Ski Jazz also features 25 concerts this year. Warm rhythms of jazz, blues, funk, and Latin music will create exciting contrasts with the snow-covered Dolomites scenery. International artists will perform in the evenings in local venues and theatres, while during the day they will go up to altitude, performing on mountain hut terraces, some of which are accessible to non-skiers. The festival will move day by day from one slope to another, from the Belvedere ski area in Canazei to Alpe Cermis in Cavalese.

Active in his personal projects and as a supporting musician, Daniele Patton performs across Italy and Europe. His versatility allows him to navigate various musical contexts, from classic traditional jazz, like Dixie, to more modern jazz, exploring repertoires of Bebop, Hard Bop, Swing, and Big Band.

The cultural and music association La Grenz, a long-standing partner of the Dolomiti Ski Jazz and Fassa Valley Panorama Music festivals, opens its club for a series of unmissable concerts. In an informal and friendly atmosphere, which has always characterised this iconic venue in Moena, musicians and the audience will gather to enjoy evenings of good music together, immersed in a tradition that has seen some of the greatest artists of the international jazz scene perform on its stage.
