Dolomiti Ski Jazz: Patrizia Laquidara

The 30th edition of Dolomiti Ski Jazz comes to Canazei with the powerful voice of Patrizia Laquidara, celebrating International Women's Day.

From 6 to 15 March, the "jazz slope" crosses the Val di Fassa and Val di Fiemme with concerts held on refuge terraces, in bars, theatres, and town squares. From Canazei to Cavalese, and on to Cembra: Dolomiti Ski Jazz presents 25 concerts this year. Warm rhythms of jazz, blues, funk, and Latin music will create thrilling contrasts with the snow-covered backdrop of the Dolomites. International artists will perform in the evenings in local venues and theatres, while during the day, they will head up to higher altitudes, playing on refuge terraces, some of which are accessible to non-skiers. The festival will move day by day from one slope to another, from the Belvedere ski area in Canazei to Alpe Cermis in Cavalese.

Patrizia Laquidara is one of the most elusive, versatile, and brilliant figures in new Italian songwriting. Critics have called her "a signature so personal it is unique" and "one of the most powerful and lyrical voices in our so-called light music."
