Extreme Kayak World Championships

There are few sports as spectacular as whitewater paddling.
and the King & Queen of the Alps is the most spectacular extreme kayak race in the world.
This is also why this year's edition of this event is the world championship in this sport.
Athletes from 30 nations will fight for the title on the Passer this weekend.
The qualifications will take place on 02 June on a course of medium difficulty and a length of 700 metres above the Sandwirt.
The final on 03 June will be held in co-system on the extremely difficult course in Moos in Passeier.
Here, the athletes have to master waterfalls and extremely difficult and spectacular river sections on a compact 400 metres.
Spectators have the unique opportunity to watch the action very close to the river bank and to cheer along.
On Saturday evening there will be the prize giving, dinner and afterwards the big "King Party".
