Did you know that the Obergereuth Hof is one of the oldest farms in the Passeiertal Valley and also one of the famous “Schildhöfe”? No? Then let yourself be captivated by a guided tour through the Obergereuth Hof and discover a fascinating world where tradition meets modernity.
Farmer Elisabeth will guide you through the impressive farm "Schildhof", which boasts a remarkable 735-year history. Dive into the story of the farm, explore the ancient walls and the traditional grain mill. Along the way, you’ll learn more about the farm’s sustainable philosophy and the variety of fruits, berries, and grains grown here – all of which are transformed into outstanding distillates, liqueurs, syrups, fruit spreads, and gin.
Another highlight is the farm’s own organic distillery. Here, Elisabeth will show you the distillation process and how high-quality spirits are produced. The tour concludes with a tasting of the farm’s delicious homemade products.
