The ideas were unconventional, and the filming conditions were at times adventurous! In 1960, cinematic rebel Jean-Luc Godard turned conventions upside down with his debut À BOUT DE SOUFFLE – making film history.
In NOUVELLE VAGUE, cult director Richard Linklater (BEFORE SUNRISE) retraces this origin story, returning to the late 1950s and the beginnings of the cinematic movement of the same name.
