A long tradition, specially in Mühlen: the fair day festival!
A local club organizes a typical feast with roast chicken, delicious sausages, pretzels, beer and wine and local music.
The highlight is the “Kirchtagmichl” (puppet) attached to a tree trunk drawn in a vertical position. It takes several hours! During the night, the Kirchtagmichl must be guarded. Because the boys of the neighboring village are keen to steal it ...
Saturday:
3:00 PM: Raising of the Michlbaum and entertainment with the Sunnberg Musikanten
6:00 PM: Beer tapping
From 8:30 PM: Dance entertainment with the party band Die Alpenkracher from Pinzgau and DJ Mike at the disco
Sunday:
11:00 AM: Traditional Kirschta parade to the festival tent, followed by a concert by the Mühlen in Taufers band and performances by the Luttach folk dance group
1:30 PM: Musical entertainment with the Oberkrainer ensemble Matej Banovsek
5:00 PM: Dance entertainment with Die Woazgruiba and DJ at the disco
6:00 PM: Raffle of the Michlbaum and various prizes
