We start in the small village of Lerch, above Ald. The trail to Schönrast Alm begins at the small chapel. Following a wide forest road, we reach Laner Alm, located not far from the GEO Trail and the visitor centre of GEOPARK Bletterbach.
After a break, we continue along the Gorzsteig to Schmieder Alm. We then return to Lerch via the forest road. This final section of the trail offers beautiful views of the Corno Bianco and the Corno Nero.
Altitude gain/loss: approx. 360 m
Total hiking time: approx. 3 hours
