An impressive tour through gorges, history and nature
Wildly romantic and pleasantly cool – the Rastenbach Gorge above Lake Kaltern is one of South Tyrol’s most fascinating natural highlights. On this guided hike, you’ll explore footbridges, waterfalls and dense forest while discovering the rich history of the area.
With an experienced guide, you follow secured trails up to Altenburg, where Roman paths, early Christian ruins and the charming St. Vigilius church await.
The return leads through Mediterranean woodland to Söll, known for its vineyards and Gewürztraminer – perfect for a relaxing stop.
