Mr. Vigl Reinhard, former history and geography professor at the secondary school of Jenesien accompanies us on the hike to the mills of Jenesien.
After visiting typical tools and utensils in the Haflinger Museum, we drive to a typical mill pond with baking oven and mill ruins at the Außerpircherhof. From the Kreuzwegerhof we hike to the Köstenbamer farm in Pittertschol. Farmer Plattner shows us his mill, which is still in operation, and his wife prepares us a small snack. Finally, we walk across meadows and fields to the Pichler mill (also still in operation) and take the public bus back to the village.
Minimum number of participants: 6 persons.
