Habsburg Carnival

During Carnival week, Madonna di Campiglio recreates the splendour of the Habsburg court, featuring Princess Sissi and Emperor Franz Joseph.

- Sunday 15 February
From 17:00: The Court arrives in Madonna di Campiglio, with a procession through the village streets, pausing at Piazza Righi, Piazza Sissi, and Piazza Lorenzetti. The Habsburg Court arrives in the centre of Madonna di Campiglio to kick off the Carnival festivities with music and dancing. The arrival of the Princess and Emperor in a carriage will be a special highlight.

- Monday 16 February
09:30: Experience the 'Habsburg Ski', a period costume ski session with the royal couple, the court, and accompanied by ski instructors.

- Tuesday 17 February
From 16:00: Children's Carnival at Piazza Sissi, a big party for all children, with face painting, dancing, and candyfloss, organised by the Madonna di Campiglio Pro loco.

- Wednesday 18 February
16:00: Experience 'Tea with Sissi': an exclusive encounter to discover anecdotes and curiosities about Princess Sissi.
Followed by tea and pastries with Sissi.

- Thursday 19 February
18:00: Torchlight parade with ski instructors, the royal couple, and the court. Together with the ski instructors, they will light up the Canalone Miramonti.
Organised by the Madonna di Campiglio Pro loco.

- Friday 20 February
19:30: Experience the 'Grand Imperial Ball', a traditional period costume ball held in the historic Salone Hofer, featuring musical entertainment and dancing.

Fees:
The experiences (Tea with Sissi, Habsburg Ski, and the Grand Ball) have limited availability, are subject to a fee, and require advance booking.
Ask your accommodation if they have an agreement; you might be able to purchase the experience at a reduced price!
