The Dolomites and their origins amidst a marvellous world of flowers.
Start: 9.50 am at Würzjoch.
The route leads across the Kompatsch meadows to the western side of the Peitlerkofel and up to the Peitlerscharte (2357 m). After a short, steep descent, the trail continues with gentle ups and downs along the southern side of the Peitler meadows to the Vaciarahütte (stop). From there, it proceeds to the ridge Gömajoch (2111 m) and back to the parking area via forests, dwarf pines and alpine pastures on the northern side of the Peitlerkofel.
Route data: distance 12.9 km, ascent/descent 560 m, pure walking time 4.30 h
Please wear suitable mountain equipment.

Reservation: within the day before at the Nature Park Visitor Center Puez-Geisler or the Tourist Information Office.
