Hiking Day with Renowned Mountaineer and Mountain Guide Hans Kammerlander
Hike in the Tiersertal Valley between Schlern and Rosengarten
We will take a coach ride to the Tiersertal Valley, at the foot of the impressive peaks of the Rosengarten Group. Weißlahnbad, a district of Tiers, will be the starting point of our hike. Ascending through the Bärenfalle in numerous switchbacks, we will reach the Tschfatschsattel (2,064 m) and continue, accompanied by breathtaking views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks, to the SesselSchwaige, where we will take a break. After a leisurely lunch break, we will hike down the famous "Prügelsteig" to the Völser Weiher, where the bus will be waiting for the return journey.
Travel time to the starting point: approximately 1.5 hours
Total hiking time: approximately 5.5 hours
Elevation difference: approximately 960 meters ascent and 1000 meters descent
Difficulty: moderate
Participation Fee: € 31.00 for transportation expenses and guided hike, refreshments during breaks are not included and must be paid separately.
