Hike from the Rotmoos parking lot in S. Maddalena in the direction of Weissbachtal and continue right to the Joasahütte hut. Harbingers of spring and a wonderful panoramic view as far as the Braies Dolomites delight the eye and heart of the hiker along the way. Descent to Pidig and via the "Eichhörnchenweg trail (Squirrel path)" back to the starting point.
Backpacking provisions or refreshments possibility in a mountain hut. Difficulty: easy-medium. Time: 9.30 am.-3.00 pm. Walking time: 4-5 hours. Difference in altitude: 550m. Meeting point: at 9.30 pm. at the bus stop at the end of the valley in Val Casies Valley/S. Maddalena. Costs: 0€ with Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido, 10€ without Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido.
