The hike starts at the "Schnegger Säge" in Valle San Silvestro and follows a gently ascending forest road, passing the charming Silvesteralm 1800 m and leading directly to the picturesque Steinbergalm 1927 m. From there, the trail continues through the forest heading west to the mount Hühnerspiel 2149 m, offering breathtaking views of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. The descent is via a well-maintained path that later merges back into the forest road, bringing you back to the starting point. This hike in Val Silvestro represents the cycle of life, nature, and water.

Departures: at 08:30 am. at the bus stop at the head of Val Casies Valley – S. Maddalena, 08:35 am. Val Casies Valley – S. Martino, 08:45 am. Val Casies Valley – Colle, 08:55 am. Tesido, 09:00 am. Monguelfo bus station in Via Stazione (opposite the Bar Parkcafé). Cost: Südtirol Guest Pass – Gsiesertal-Welsberg-Taisten Card 5 €, 15 €.
