We start in Daunei above Selva di Val Gardena, first hiking through the forest and then ascending steeply along a zigzag trail up to the plateau of Monte Stevia. Here we are rewarded with a magnificent view of the Alpe di Siusi, the Langkofel (Sassolungo) and the Sella Group. Via the Silvester Pass, we descend – initially somewhat steeply – then pleasantly through the forest down to the Juac Hut. From there, a wide path leads us back to the parking area.
Walking time: approx. 4,5 hours
Altitude difference: Ascent 600 m | Descent 600 m
Difficulty: very difficult
