Ilva Eigus, born in 2007 in Zurich, is among the rising elite of young musicians. The fabulous violinist with Swiss-Latvian roots has already performed at numerous festivals, from Verbier and Lucerne to Salzburg. Despite her young age, she has been entrusted with a Stradivarius instrument on loan.
She will be accompanied by jazz pianist Nik Bärtsch, one of the most sought-after musicians in the European jazz and funk scene and beyond. The program features works by Bach, Stravinsky, and Bärtsch.
No parking available on site; shuttle service from the Tetter parking lot starting at 7:20 p.m.
Remaining tickets available at the evening box office from 7:30 p.m.; discounts for members of KKE, Forum Musik Kaltern, and Pauls Sakral; free admission for music students of all South Tyrolean music schools and teachers of the ÜMEt.
