Sustainability and human-centeredness are two main aspects of Industry 5.0. In the keynote, selected current research projects of the chair will be presented for both. In the area of circular economy, research collaborations with the automotive industry in Germany will be presented, dealing with disassembly and recycling approaches. The part on human-centeredness includes a brief insight into the topic of ethics in AI, using the example of shift planning in logistics. The presentation is intended to inspire exchange and discussion on research collaborations and new research topics.
