Insider tip: To the Schwarzsee lake

The tour leads through the Pfoital Valley to the pasture Pfoialm and up to the Hintere Lenke at 2539m. In about 20 minutes of descent you reach the day's destination, the Schwarzsee mountain lake with its impressive the dark color. The way back leads over the Scharte to the pasture Pfoialm and from there over the Almweg 2000 towards the Uwald Alm 2042m. Descent is via the forest road to S. Maddalena. Refreshment stop. Difficulty: difficult. Time: 8.30 am.-4.00 pm. Walking time: 5-6 hours. Difference in altitude: 1200m. Meeting point: at 8.30 pm. at the bus stop at the head of the valley in Val Casies Valley/S. Maddalena. Costs: 5€ with Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido, 15€ without Guest Pass Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido.
