The Vinschgau singer-songwriter returns home
Born in Schlanders in 1980 and raised in Stilfs and Laas, Dominik Plangger is a successful singer-songwriter, author and composer whose reputation extends far beyond regional borders.
The socially critical singer-songwriter gained wider recognition through shared stage performances with Konstantin Wecker and Reinhard Mey. After moving to Vienna, he established himself with regular live appearances and met the violinist Claudia Fenzl, who is now his wife.
Although Dominik Plangger has been living in Vienna for some time and enjoys international success, he has not forgotten his roots. Alongside his well-known songs from the singer-songwriter charts, he continues to perform his own interpretations of traditional Korrnrliadr, such as “Mail Maadele, mai Tschurale”.
