Laives unveils its new Town Hall Square

The celebrations for the official opening of the new town square will begin on Saturday morning, May 23, with a gathering scheduled for 9:00 AM. The inauguration will officially kick off with the opening ceremony and various institutional speeches, formally marking the birth of the square as a new space for the community. The solemn first phase will be accompanied by performances by the Musikkapelle and the Coro Monti Pallidi, while the morning will conclude with a convivial moment open to the entire community.
The festivities will continue in the evening of Saturday, when starting at 10:00 PM the urban space will transform to host a large party dedicated to music. The program includes K-pop dance performances by Alto Adige K-pop, followed by a DJ set by HOWLR-Manuel Stefani, thus turning the square into a gathering and entertainment spot for the youngest.
The weekend will officially conclude on Sunday morning, May 24, with an appointment dedicated to great classical music. At 11:00 AM, at the Parish Church, the Orchester Sinfonica delle Alpi will perform Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, offering the community a moment of high culture to seal the importance of this historic public work.
