Founded by Matthias Schriefl in 2003, Shreefpunk is a band that blends jazz, avant-garde and punk. This eclectic group has toured extensively across Europe, parts of West Africa and Australia. Shreefpunk has performed at numerous major concert halls and philharmonic venues. On their first CD, the original line-up was supported by Django Bates, whilst for the second, an entire big band was engaged. On their latest album, the musicians performed alongside classical string instruments.
