Together with Lanz Active, we follow in the footsteps of mountaineering pioneer Paul Grohmann, who in 1869, accompanied by his guides Peter Salcher and Franz Innerkofler, made the first ascent of the Great Peak (Große Zinne). The starting point is Landro, from where we begin our hike with views of the impressive north faces of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, following the Rienztal valley on a wide and initially gentle trail.
The route then climbs more steeply through the Rimbianco valley to the alpine pasture of the same name and continues to Lake Antorno, where we can also admire the southern side of the Tre Cime for the first time. After a short descent, we reach Misurina, from where we return comfortably to Toblach by public bus.
A hike that combines mountaineering history, spectacular landscapes, and alpine nature in the heart of the Dolomites.
