Laura Marzadori, born in Bologna in 1989, won at only 25 years of age, with the unanimous judgement of the commission chaired by Daniel Barenboim, the international competition for first violin in the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Since May of this year, after a demanding trial period, she has officially held this prestigious position which, in just a few months, has already given her the opportunity to work alongside the world's greatest conductors: Daniel Barenboim, Riccardo Chailly, Daniele Gatti, Daniel Harding, Zubin Mehta and Antonio Pappano.
In addition to her commitment at La Scala, she continues her solo activity, which sees her collaborate with renowned conductors and give concerts all over the world.
She came to the attention of the public and critics at a very young age, winning top prizes in numerous competitions, including the "Andrea Amati" Review in Cremona, the National Arts Prize, the Postacchini International Competition, where she also received the special prize for the best performance of Paganini's caprices, and winning the most important national violin competition at only 16 years of age: the "Città di Vittorio Veneto" Prize.
In Bolzano she will be accompanied on the piano by Olaf John Laneri.

At the concert in Bolzano she will be accompanied by Olaf John Laneri. Olaf John Laneri should be known to the Bolzano audience, as he won the 50th edition of the "Busoni" competition in the summer of 1998 (2nd prize "with special distinction"; the first prize was not awarded). He performs at prestigious concerts in Italy and Europe as soloist and with orchestra (Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, Orchestra dell'Arena di Verona, Symphony Orchestra of Tokyo, Philharmonic of Montecarlo) and collaborates with conductors such as Lawrence Foster, Tomas Hanus and Lior Shambadal.
