Majestic summit tour to Rudlhorn

Starting from the hiking car park above the Mudler mountain inn, the trail leads to the Taistner Alm 2012 m. After a brief break, the ascent continues along the grassy ridge to the rocky summit ridge of Rudlhorn 2448 m. At the top, hikers are rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Rieserferner group. Backpacking provisions or refreshments possibility in the mountain hut Taistner Alm (closed untill June, 1). Difficulty: medium. Length: 10 km. Duration: 09:15 am.-04:15 pm. Walking time: 4-4.5 hours. Altitude difference: 826 m. Meeting point: 09.15 am. at the hiking car park above the mountain inn Mudler in Tesido. Arrival by public transport possible (line 441; Citybus 438): Bus stop Tesido – Mudler. 5-minute walk to the meeting point. Cost: Südtirol Guest Pass – Gsiesertal-Welsberg-Taisten Card 10 €, 15 €.
