Deer rut and culinary delights

The public bus comfortably takes us from Laion to Ortisei for our short journey. From there, we walk along the Post Trail to the Pedrutscherhof Restaurant, where we have dinner. The host, a hunter himself, will tell us a lot about the behaviour of deer during the rutting season and beyond. After nightfall, we head outside, hoping to hear the roaring of the amorous stags. Afterwards, we walk on to San Pietro and take the taxi back to Laion.
