On December 13, 2025, the Merano–Bolzano Christmas Charity Run will take place, bringing together sport, solidarity, and the festive spirit of the season. Organized by the Eppaner Burgenläufer in support of the “Sogni e Vai” project by Croce Bianca and Caritas Diocese Bolzano–Bressanone, the event offers a unique opportunity to run or walk together while supporting those in need.
The run is non-competitive: participants start and finish as a group, without timing, because the most important thing is to share the experience and contribute to a meaningful cause. The “Sogni e Vai” project enables people with serious illnesses to fulfill wishes and experience special moments, and all registration fees and donations from the run are fully devoted to this initiative.
To allow everyone to join, the route offers different starting points along the Adige Valley:
Merano – 32 km, for those running the full distance;
Gargazzone – 21 km;
Terlano – 12 km;
Ponte Adige – 5 km, for walkers and families.
All distances converge in Bolzano, where the run concludes. The event is open to runners, families, and sports enthusiasts of all levels, making it a perfect way to combine fitness, fun, and solidarity.
