In their childhood in Seoul, Nora and Hae Sung were inseparable friends. Until Nora's family emigrates to Toronto and the two twelve-year-olds lose sight of each other. 20 years later, Hae Sung decides to visit his childhood friend for a few days in New York. Nora lives there as an aspiring writer and has already been happily married to Arthur for seven years. The reunion of Nora and Hae Sung confronts them both with their deep bond, inescapable questions about love, fate and the choices that determine life.
