The Trio is composed of Brazilians Carolina Zingler (composition, guitar, and vocals) and Vanessa Garcia (percussion), and Trentino native Erica Freo (violin). The group reinterprets pieces from Brazilian and jazz traditions and, increasingly prominently, explores Carolina's original repertoire. She is a pioneer among São Paulo's street musicians and an itinerant artist who released her fifth album, "Eu Viro Bicho", in 2024. Carolina follows her intuition to blend her music with the different cultures, situations, and people she encounters. She conceives her street performances as an active urban intervention where the city and the horizons where she chooses to perform become a living stage.
