Pre-New Year's Eve Cross-Country Ski Race

Round off the year with a sporting challenge: on 30 December, Kössen hosts the Pre-New Year's Eve cross-country ski race on an idyllic natural trail. The 24-kilometre route leads through the Kaiserwinkl region, snow conditions permitting. The race starts at the Mooslenz car park in Kössen. Children and teenagers will take part in a sprint race before the adults set off on the full distance. A three-figure number of participants is expected, including those from neighbouring Bavaria.
