Rifugio Martello with glacier trail
This event already took place.
Travel by bus to the rear of the Martell Valley. We hike briefly on a gravel road, then through a beautiful high alpine forest and after about 40 minutes reach the timberline, where there is a magnificent view of the Marteller glaciers. The trail continues first flat, then moderately steep up to the Marteller hut. After a stop for refreshments at the hut, we hike along the glacier trail back to the car park.
Walking time: approx. 4.5-5 hours
Altitude difference: 600 m
